Another thought,

We can all blog and we can spread the correct information out there! The only thing, DO NOT mention this Penn and Teller thing AT ALL! No reason to give them anymore "airtime".

Beloved GreenYes Family,

My father had a saying............, "The more you stir in {dung}, the worse it will stink"

I fear that giving view and comment to the outrageous, misinformed anti-recycling video will help propagate it over the Internet. Just let Penn and Teller drown in their own filth.

My 2-cents..........

Penn and Teller eschew it

They told the world, ?don?t do it?

Recycling, they say

Is a waste of your day

But the recyclers just HAD to view it!

Best always,

Tom Rhodes

Unfortunately, in this age of blogs and Utube and GoggleVideo it?s not getting lost on the Web ? rather, it is getting found. Check this blog?s declaration:

Well now; this is pretty funny. Hilarious even. I've seen most of their four seasons of episodes, but this one from season two on recycling got by me.

And of course, it includes the entire clip embedded from GoogleVideo. :-(

What a foul video THAT was! Rife with abusive language and misinformation. They left out most of the important statistics. What a treat to watch that. To add to the enjoyment, note this ( <http://www.sho.com/site/announcements/070606emmy.do> http://www.sho.com/site/announcements/070606emmy.do):

SHOWTIME IS PROUD TO HAVE BEEN NOMINATED FOR THE FOLLOWING PRIMETIME EMMY? AWARDS

Penn & Teller: Bullshit -(3)
Outstanding Reality Program
Outstanding Picture Editing for nonfiction programming
Outstanding Writing for Nonfiction programming

Disregarding all the foul language & etc., the arguments (if one can call them that) are pretty much the standard ones and have been emitted around here by Vasuki and his Delaware Solid Waste Authority for a long time. It would be interesting to know how this "show" on this topic came about and what interests really fed them the content.

Hopefully, the video will stay lost on the Web with only a handful of viewers, most of them folks like us who know better.

Camille

Well, here?s at least one blog I ran across that swallowed it as gospel:
