Much of what we ask consumers to recycle is packaging, so PACKAGING
DESIGN is critically important to the long-term success of recycling.
Moderated by Scott Vitters, Director, Sustainable Packaging Platform
from The Coca-Cola Company, this session will cover the State-of-the-Art
in Sustainable Packaging Design. Speakers will include John Delfausse,
Vice President, Estee Lauder Companies; Amy Zettlemoyer, Director of
Packaging, Sam's Club; and Anne Johnson, Director, Sustainable Packaging
Coalition.

After years of intense debate, the U.S. still lacks a comprehensive
national system for ELECTRONICS RECYCLING. Product Stewardship Team
Leader Garth Hickle from the Minnesota Office of Environmental
Assistance will lead a lively and interactive discussion addressing this
vexing topic. Panelists include Tod Arbogast, Sustainable Business
Manager for Dell, Inc.; Rona Cohen, Senior Policy Analyst, The Council
of State Governments; and Rick Goss, Director of Environmental Affairs,
Electronic Industry Alliance.

CLIMATE CHANGE is the environmental issue of our time. In Climate
Change: Can Recycling Turn Down the Heat?, David Refkin, Director of
Sustainable Development for Time Inc. will moderate a panel featuring
David Redfield, Vice President, Wal-Mart Stores; Jean Pierre Martel,
Senior Vice President for Sustainability at the Forest Products
Association of Canada; and Kevin Drew, Residential Recycling
Coordinator, City and County of San Francisco.
