[GreenYes] Re: Bauxite Ore Needed for One Aluminum Can?

Approximately 4 pounds of ore are required to produce 1 pound of aluminum.

an empty aluminum can weighs 14 grams. One pound is equal to 453 grams. So
you can make approximately 32 cans from 1 pound of aluminum.
