Baltimore has worked with a similar company, Outdoor Partner Media. The contact in Baltimore for hte program is Mark Wick, Chief, Environmental Services Division, 410-396-8450, mark.wick@no.address PartnerBins Pilot Program The Baltimore Department of Public Works is trying an innovative approach to encouraging recycling around the Inner Harbor and downtown. The project is designed to save money, generate revenue and help to keep the streets clean. They are using receptacles called "PartnerBins." These bins have two compartments, one for trash and one for recyclables. The receptacles are paid for by advertisements that cover the four sides of each bin. The city has partnered with Outdoor Partner Media to run the program and to sell advertising space.
