Roadrunner Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America and the
New Mexico Environment Department: Solid Waste Bureau.

New Mexico, Nevada, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and
Wyoming

Conference Highlights:
Monday, June 12: All Day Golf tournament <http://www.nmswana.com/> and
evening garden reception. Monday afternoon Education and Tribal Roundtables!

Tuesday, June 13: Welcoming ceremony with Miss Navajo Nation and a tribal
dance performance. Followed by national Keynote Speaker Pete Grogan with
Weyerhaueser Recycling. Sessions cover the ranges of everything you need to
know or want to know about managing waste in arid climate states and
handling specific challenges in these elements and geographical expanses.

Wednesday, June 14: National Keynote Speakers include Pat DeRueda with
Waste Management Recycle America; John Skinner (National SWANA director) and
Kate Krebs (National Recycling Coalition director) share their perspectives
in a joint session on how to Ramp up our Recycling Rates

Thursday, June 15: Final session day closes with an All-Day Tour up to
Santa Fe?s brand new MRF (Materials Recovery Facility) completed with some
local site-seeing adventures; as well as a Half Day Tour of the Albuquerque
waste processing facilities
