[GreenYes] HDPE 2 Vitamin Bottles

I am trying to make an eco friendly choice for bottling our nutritional
supplements. I've heard benefits for both plastic and glass, but an
answer to one important question evades me. Are HDPE 2 plastic vitamin
bottles recyclable everywhere, some places or nowhere at all? I've
noticed some recycling centers do not accept them and others do not
differentiate them fron other HDPE 2.  I do not want to use a material
for our packaging that cannot be recycled. Can anyone help?
