[greenyes] Implications of Waste Minimisation policies

I am interested to hear how policies such as establishing a waste minimisation authority, implementing a landfill levy, extended producer responsibility programmes and material bans to landfill positively affect local authorities, industrial designers/ manufacturers/ retailers and the business community.
