We'd be interested in comments on this.....Considering the price difference
for PET in beer vs glass I'm surprised that it has taken off.  Does anyone
else have information on the market share of PET beer bottles.  The impact
on recycling has got to be huge with the barrier resin.



Experiments for developing PET bottles to replace glass for beer packaging,
being  conducted for a long time now, have finally paid  dividends. China,
has finally replaced glass bottles for  beer with a new PET packaging. Read
