24th Annual National Recycling Congress & Expo
August 28-31, 2005 ~ Minneapolis, MN
 
More than 1,000 recycling professionals from around
the nation will gather in Minneapolis on August 28-31,
2005 for the National Recycling Coalition's 24th 
Annual Congress & Expo. The Congress will feature
more than 30 educational sessions, more than 100 
exhibitors, several exciting networking events, tours,
and more. The theme is "Heartland of Recycling."

You can help Minnesota host this premiere national
recycling conference in several ways:

1) Include the event in the calendar listings in your 
newsletter, website, etc.

2) Join the Recycling Association of Minnesota's 
(RAM) "Host Committee" and its subcommittees to
work on everything from tours and social events to 
publicity and onsite recycling. For information on how

3) Submit a proposal to speak at the Congress. NRC has 
posted its "Call for Papers" on its website at 
www.nrc-recycle.org/congress. The deadline for proposed 
abstracts is January 31, 2005. NRC is especially 
interested in hearing from speakers who can present in 
the following formats:

--Open-format, interactive, and audience-driven sessions 
and debates on today's top recycling issues. 

--How-to sessions with take-away resources and tools. 

--Innovation sessions for achieving recycling success in 
challenging budget and political environments.     

--Lessons-learned sessions in the art of engaging 
community leaders and the public to advocate for 
recycling locally.

4) Highlight NRC's new "Super Saver" rate to your 
members and colleagues. This year, if you register by 
March 31, you can save nearly 30% off the regular pre-
registration rates. The online registration form will be 
available in early 2005.

--Super Saver Rates: Register before March 31. NRC 
Member - $405. Non-Member - $540. Payment must be 
received by March 31 to qualify for the Super Saver 
rates. 

--Early Registration Rates: Register between April 1- 
June 30. NRC Member - $450. Non-Member - $585. 

--Regular Pre-Registration Rates: Register between
July 1- August 12. NRC Member - $575. Non-Member - 
$705
