Following Gretchen's comment, allow me to list the primary sales outlets for domestically produced PVC for the ten month period ending October 31, 2004:

Packaging film and sheet 7.1 percent of total sales
Bottles 0.8 percent of total sales

In comparison, resin use in making pipe, windows and siding were a combined 60 percent of PVC sales.

Total PVC shipments in the ten-month period totaled 12.58 billion pounds.
