[greenyes] Air purifiers

Hi all,
 
My infant son has been dealing with some ongoing respiratory issues.
His grandmother has looked into options other than medication for
helping to alleviate some of the problems and has come across the air
purifier systems.  I am extremely skeptical of the ones that use ozone
to "clean" the air but she keeps pushing it.  Anyone have feedback on
those that indicates they are actually safe or perhaps an alternative we
can consider that we can all feel safe about?
