[greenyes] PLASTIC DEBRIS, RIVERS TO SEA NETWORK

PLASTIC DEBRIS, RIVERS TO SEA NETWORK
Join our list-serve!
YOU ARE INVITED to join the Algalita Marine Research Foundation (AMRF)
PLASTIC DEBRIS, RIVERS TO SEA NETWORK. Our goal is to create a Network
of organizations and institutions that are informed about the quantity and
effects of plastics and trash in the marine environment. By having access to
the
latest research and information, Network participants will be equipped to
implement successful programs to stop the flow of plastics and trash from
landbased
sources to the marine environment. Through this list-serve, you will
receive announcements about meetings of AMRF's Plastic Debris Network in
California and join in on-line discussions and information exchange. Please
add to
the knowledge base of the Network by posting news and information related to:
¨ Plastic or trash in the marine environment
¨ Plastic and packaging waste management issues
¨ The impacts of plastic and trash on the marine eco-system
¨ The impacts of plastics on human health
If you have questions or comments, contact:
Miriam Gordon at (415) 904-5214, mgordon@no.address
AMRF is the lead organization for the PLASTIC DEBRIS, RIVERS TO SEA
