I always like to ask 'cost effective' recycling proponents what type of car they drive. It is almost never the case that they look for an energy efficient or environmentally friendly model. Then I ask them why management of discards should be different. We should not be looking to buy the cheapest car, or implementing the least expensive waste management system. I want a program that does what we think it should, in an efficient manner!
