You probably have a toner remanufacturer right there on the island that will buy the laser and inkjet cartridges.  If not, there are brokers online (most are out of California) that purchase those and used cell phones.

The curbside programs in Marion County, Oregon include household batteries and paint.  In addition, almost all the curbside programs in Oregon include used oil.
