Does anyone have a source/ideas for recycling hard back books? Obviously the paper can be removed from the binding and recycled, but for facilities that have large quantities of outdated hard back books and staffing challenges, binding removal is improbable. These are facilities such as libraries and thrift stores receiving donated books on their last leg, so it is not a matter of donating them to another entity. Are there businesses that will accept the whole book to be broken down and recycled? Thanks! Happy Earth Day!
