Thought you'd be interested to know that beverage container recycling and wasting has been covered in a number of publications this week, including: * The Worldwatch Institute¹s new on-line publication called "Good Stuff? A Behind-the-Scenes Guide to the Things We Buy.² The report traces what goes into the production, use, and disposal of 25 common consumer items, including beverage containers. CRI's contributed to this publication with a piece entitled "Beverages: The Price of Quenching Our Thirst." It can be viewed at http://www.worldwatch.org/pubs/goodstuff/beverages/. The full report can be viewed and downloaded free at: http://www.worldwatch.org/pubs/goodstuff/. * The trade journal Food Engineering discusses growing beverage container waste in its recent issue. Anheuser-Busch is portrayed in quite a positive light in this piece.
