The Sierra Club does. This stance is contained in numerous policy documents, e.g. the biomass guidance: "The Club opposes combustion of municipal wastes, medical wastes, and hazardous wastes for disposal or for energy. We also reject burning such mixed waste for disposal or supposed 'energy recovery' in boilers, cement kilns, and other open-ended combustion devices." -- Steve Bloom > -----Original Message----- > From: Minimushomines@no.address [mailto:Minimushomines@no.address] > Sent: Friday, March 05, 2004 4:15 PM > To: greenyes@no.address > Subject: [greenyes] Large environmental organizations opposing > incineration. > > > Dear All: > A question please.
