The NRDC write-up is a great article. It forgets to mention that the issue
with containment of the body in something not-so-degradeable is about public
health and proximity to groundwater. As we know from the wastewater field,
pathogens can travel. If that's not a problem, then bodies can be interred au
naturel.

The NRDC has a great article about burials and being green. Thought it
should be shared.
