Needed: Documents in Russian about solid waste recycling and disposal in the US and other countries.

The Association of Oregon Recyclers has teamed up with the city of Khabarovsk, Russia to work with them on solid waste issues. Khabarovsk is a city of about 600,000 people located in the Russian Far East, a few hundred miles north of Vladivostok and bordering on China. Khabarovsk would like to develop a solid waste management plan to address recycling and garbage collection, disposal, recycling market development, and pretty much the same issues that we deal with here. They are very interested in learning about what we have done in the United States, and we have been exchanging people to learn about each other's systems.

As part of this project, the Association of Oregon Recyclers has been translating a number of ordinances, rules, educational pieces, and other documents into Russian. However, translation is expensive. We are looking for any documents you might have that have already been translated into Russian that relate to solid waste and recycling programs. We would also like the English version of these documents as well as the Russian version.

If you have any good solid waste documents in Russian, could you please email them to me? If you only have printed copies, please email me a description of what you have.

Thanks you.
