RE: [greenyes] Recycling evicted from Post Offices
Howdy folks -- GRRN doesn't have the time or resources right now to ramp
up a grassroots campaign targeting the post office, as we have done
recently with disposable DVDs. But, for anyone who wants to push on this
and have some fun, the message frame I came up with while running early
this morning was --

My computer has a recycling bin for unwanted e-mail; why don't you have
a recycling bin for unwanted paper mail?

Cheers,

David Wood

My understanding of the post office recycling program was that it was
for
undeliverable mail behind the counter. This adds up to a large amount of
mixed paper (with a significant amount of contaminants) but would
probably
be invisible to the customer.

Interesting you say there has been recycling in
the post offices where you all are.

There hasn't been any recycling in Florida post
offices !
