                              Call for Papers


      The Carolina Recycling Association's 14th Annual Conference and 
Trade
Show,  one  of  the  nation's  premier recycling events, attracts up to 
500
attendees  and  exhibitors.  The 2004 conference will be held at The 
Adam’s
Mark  Hotel,  in  Charlotte,  NC.  It is expected to draw hundreds of 
waste
management   decision-makers  from  business  and  commerce,  
institutions,
nonprofits  and all levels of government. The theme of this conference 
will
be Staying on Track!


      We  invite  you to participate by submitting an abstract 
describing a
presentation you would like to make. The abstract is due by October 3, 
2003
.  By  speaking at the conference, you have the opportunity to set 
yourself
apart   and   enhance   your   credibility   and   stature  among  
industry
professionals;  refresh  and  increase  your  personal knowledge; 
challenge
yourself  and  your  colleagues  through  lively  debates  and  
interactive
sessions, and share your expertise with peers.

      CRA will evaluate the abstracts to obtain a balanced program with 
the
following  criteria:   applicability  of  topic, overall quality and 
focus,
quality of research, originality and presentation skills.  Travel costs 
and
other  expenses  for  speakers cannot be covered by the CRA. Proposal

can  be found online at www.cra-recycle.org. The abstract is due by 
October
3, 2003
