The cartridge is suppose to be made out of recycled plastic and 
hold a light biodegradable oil.  This isthe way America needs to go with 
such demand of this precious resource. Some models do not even use 
the container - just the oil. There is even female urinals but the 
ones I have seen (via internet) use 5 gallons of water a bit of a step back.
