[greenyes] Cleaning of Plate glass contaminated with adhesive & metal

A consultant has contacted me, looking for equipment or processes that a
window manufacturer can use to clean the scrap glass that has adhesive and
metal stuck to it. They find that they have markets to recycle clean plate
glass, but not for the contaminated material.
 
Does anyone have any advice on equipment or methods to clean plate glass of
adhesives and attached metal so that it can be recycled?
