[greenyes] Construction and demolition waste alternatives
- Subject: [greenyes] Construction and demolition waste alternatives

We're designing a LEED (www.leedbuilding.org) certified college building in
Farmington, Maine. There's expected construction waste and demolition
anticipated and we would like to keep it out of the land fills. Do you know
who in our area would take what materials? We anticipate demolished asphalt
and concrete paving, clay and iron sewer pipes just to mention a few. We'll
have also new construction waste like brick, concrete block, metal studs,
wood, etc.
Sincerely,
Steve Ruszkai, AIA, LEED
