Hello,When I was in Ireland last year, they had recently passed a law banning the distribution of paper and plastic bags in all grocery stores.  They sold cloth bags in their stores and most people brought boxes from home to put their groceries in.  It was really great! ~michelle

What's interesting is that this issue really isn't a current topic among
local waste and recycling groups, although it has come up in the past.
Interesting lesson on who you can partner with on this type of issue.
