RE: [greenyes] Arctic National Wildlife Refuge Update
Norm Coleman of Minnesota is also a critical vote.
Call his office in Washington at 202-224-5641 or in MN at 651-645-0323.

Subject: [greenyes] Arctic National Wildlife Refuge Update

I don't believe Sen. Nelson will vote to open drilling in the Arctic
National
Wildlife Refuge despite radio ads encouraging people to contact him to do
so.
It sure wouldn't hurt for those of us against drilling to give his office a

call.

If GRRN knows of any other Senators that might be on the fence, we'd sure
like to have their names and contact information. We all want the U.S. to
be
more energy independent but drilling in the wildlife refuge isn't going to
do
much more than provide us with about 4 days worth of petrol each year--if
that--and not for another 5-7 years even if drilling is allowed.

Below is contact information for Sen. Nelson:

Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Nebr).
