[greenyes] green building question
I have a friend who is an architect working on a commercial project in NJ who posed the following problem and question to me. Anyone have any ideas?

Amy:

I am finding lots of conflicts between the manufacturers of various green products. For example, the only manufacturer. for recycled-content hardboard siding doesn't distribute his products in the Eastern half of the US. Similar
looking sidings are available here, but they have no recycled content.

Also, even if the recycled siding were available here, they wouldn't
permit its use with blown cellulose insulation, due to their concern
about the moisture in the insulation when first installed.

Do you know of any recycled-content siding available in NJ? Also, do you
know of any green insulations which are not installed in a damp state
(probably something other than cellulose)?

Thanks.
