Greetings fellow Greenyes'ers. The Computer TakeBack Campaign,
co-coordinated by Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition and GrassRoots
Recycling Network, has some activities and events planned for next week
in Austin, TX to which you are cordially invited and encouraged to
attend.
Monday 9/9 at 11:00 a.m. we are holding a press conference with recyclers
attending the NRC Congress in Austin and with local activists to
demonstrate the growing depth of support for promoting producer take-back
for discarded electronics. Join us at the Austin Convention Center.

Monday 9/9 from 6-9 pm at the Orbit Lounge, 201 East 6th Street, above
Buffalo Billiards, Texas Campaign for the Environment and Austin-area
activists are hosting a reception for the Campaign and recognizing the
work of SVTC's Ted Smith. Enjoy donated food from Austin restaurants and
caterers, as well as "guest appearances" by George W. and Bill
