Dear Yes-people,

I thought that I'd seen somewhere that along with consuming 25% of the
world's fossil fuel, 30% of the world's paper, and 25% of the world's
energy, that we then thanked the earth by generating 25% of it's
garbage.  Are these figures reasonably accurate and would anyone have
citations that could help back it up?  For that matter, would anyone
like to add similar ones that I've left out?
