PA BUDGET INCREASES LANDFILL TIPPING FEES
Harrisburg, Pa. -- Pennsylvania Governor Mark Schweiker has all but
finalized details of the state's 2003 budget, which includes a $4 per ton
increase for tipping fees at state landfills.

According to Schweiker, the agreement will dedicate about $50 million per
year from tipping fees to the state's Growing Greener environmental
stewardship program.
