[GreenYes] COMMUNITY CAR WASH OIL/WATER SEPARATOR KITS ???

SUBJECT: Community Car Wash Oil/Water Separator Kits ?

Greetings GreenYes'ers et. al.,

Does anyone have information on these kits?

Our culture currently has a strong love affair with fundraiser car
washes, even though such car washes can damage the environment. In
the category of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em," comes the idea of
car wash kits.

These oil-water separators fit neatly inside storm drains, and catch
the oily runoff from community car washes held in supermarket parking
lots, etc. They pump the runoff into a basin connected to the
sanitary sewages system.

The City of Bellevue, WA would like information on people's
experience with the effectiveness, ease, and cost of such devices.
If you have any information to share, please respond directly to
David Stitzhal (Consultant to the City) at:

THANKS.

David
