2002 ANNUAL MEETING OF THE RECYCLED PAPER COALITION DATE: Friday, June 7, 2002, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM LOCATION: 22nd Floor, The Ordway Building, One Kaiser Plaza, Oakland, California (hosted by Kaiser Permanente) The Ordway Building is located near 21st and Harrison, four blocks from the 19th Street BART station. FEE: $25 per person RSVP: By May 31 (see registration information below) Environmental managers, purchasing agents, facilities managers, and other interested parties are invited to join the RPC Board and member organizations for a day of stimulating discussion about improving the market for recycled paper, setting up and maintaining successful recycling collection programs, reducing paper waste and usage, and recent Coalition activities and achievements. Agenda: Keynote speaker: Todd Paglia, Forest Ethics Luncheon speaker: Howard Ris, Union of Concerned Scientists Darby Hoover, RPC’s Executive Director, will present the RPC’s 2001 Annual Report. Featured morning session panelists will discuss ways to improve the market for recycled paper: --Susan Kinsella, Conservatree --Derek Smith, Norm Thompson Outfitters --Don Black, American Product Distributors --Carl Gagliardi, International Paper An open Q&A session will follow the presentations. Three afternoon workshops will explore the details of issues related to environmental paper usage. Workshop topics will be: --Setting up and maintaining successful environmental paper purchasing programs (Jodi Cahillane and Darby Hoover, RPC) --Incorporating environmental papers into your printing decisions (Art Gibson, R.R.
