Job Opening at the San Francisco Department of the Environment - City
Government Recycling Coordinator. The City Recycling Coordinator
develops, coordinates, implements and evaluates source reduction, reuse
and recycling programs for City Government, including but not limited
to, paper, plastics, metals, and organic materials; prepares and manages
program budgets; provides technical assistance to businesses and
agencies; administers grants & contracts; and administers the Resource
Conservation Ordinance and other legislative mandates. Salary: $60,762
- $73,866 Annual. Minimum Qualifications: BA Degree and five years

Job Opening at the San Francisco Department of the Environment - City
Toxics Reduction Coordinator. The City Toxics Reduction Program Manager
(TRPM) is responsible for day to day implementation and oversight of the
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Ordinance and the Environmentally
Preferable Purchasing (EPP) Ordinance. The TRPM is responsible for
solving pest problems, implementing pilot projects of new technologies,
and reporting to the Commission on the Environment on an annual basis on
the progress of the pesticide reduction effort. In addition, the TRPM
interfaces with the public on questions of less toxic products and works
with other government agencies to reduce the impact of toxic materials
on the San Francisco Bay and surrounding areas. The TRPM supervises 2
Program Associates and is responsible for managing professional services
contracts for technical assistance in both the IPM and EPP programs.
Salary: $60,762 - $73,866 Annual. Minimum Qualifications: BA Degree and
