We introduced single stream recycling at the City of Monterey about 6
months ago and people absolutely love it. People were very capable of
sorting their own newspapers, etc. but having one container to lug to
the curb that protects the materials from wind and rain has helped our
recycling tremendously.  We have many seniors that have appreciated the
simplicity of this system as well.

There's my 25 cents (inflation!).
