The City of Fort Worth is undergoing a wholesale change of its garbage and
recycling collection system and philosophy, including to increase its waste
reduction rate. Position directs, manages, supervises and coordinates the activities and
operations of the Solid Waste Services Division. Duties include but are not
limited to development, recommendation, and implementation of policy,
coordination of service delivery, contract management, interaction with
regulatory agencies, other divisions, departments and outside agencies.
