[GreenYes] a more effective way to get off mailing lists

Unfortunately, the recommendation to write to Direct Marketing Assn. Mail
Preference Services doesn't get your name off all lists.  The easiest web
site to facilitate this I've seen yet is at www.newdream.org where they have
you input your name and address, etc. and click thru several windows that
enable you to print out ready-to-mail letters to the various list marketers,
including those that could choke the world with credit card offers. This is
a free service, you print and post the letters, as opposed to several web
sites that charge a fee.
