I don't know why but perhaps BFI now being owned by Allied Waste Industries
(this isn't new news) could have something to do with it. Just a thought.
Has Allied kept BFI Recyclery's open overall?

Dear GreenYesers:
BFI has recently closed its recycling facility here in Northern
Virginia. Has anyone heard what the story behind this decision is? Bad
management, weak commodity prices, lack of corporate commitment or some
mixture thereof. Thanks for any info you might have.
