Wonder what the energy balance is for the energy "recovery" vs. the transportation to ship it to a far-away facility....?

Xerox provides a recycling program for  phaser 780 toner cartridges

Xerox is asking it's customers to mail color printer supplies to an
incinerator for Waste-to-Energy recovery.  This is their environmental
solution to their waste.  Don't know that I agree with it, but I thought
I'd pass it on.
