[GreenYes] green purchasing
Mary:

Not exactly an answer to your question, but our web site has lots of
companies that make a variety of recycled products suitable for offices,
including refurbished partitions. Go to www.chelseacenter.org and click on
massachusetts manufacturers.

Subject: [GreenYes] Green procurement resources needed

Please Post:

Our company (located in Minnesota) has promoted someone into a newly created
job. This person will have the sole authority and responsibility for
purchasing office supplies, office furniture and other items related to
maintenance of our facilities. This person's mission is to make the most
environmentally responsible purchasing decisions possible. She has a little
background on "green purchasing" but is very interested in learning more.
She and I are looking for workshops, web pages, reports, "great green
buyers" or other learning tools and contacts that might be helpful.

Any assistance is appreciated, and yes, we are aware of the NRC's annual
congress that is coming up in January.

Many thanks,
Mary Tkach
