[GreenYes] Can you attend 12/11 EPA Meeting in SF on Beyond RCRA?
Apologies for Cross-Postings

We're trying to get Zero Waste advocates out for this.  Can you 
attend?  Attached is the agenda for the day that was used in DC 
today.  This will likely be the same agenda used in SF.  In DC, only 2 
environmental leaders attended: Neil Seldman and Pat Franklin.  We need a 
much better showing in SF to impact the direction of this important process.

Please REPLY if you are able to attend, and are interested in supporting 
Zero Waste and product stewardship as key messages that EPA includes in 
this document.

Public Meeting and Request for Comments on
"Beyond RCRA: Prospects for Waste and Materials Management in the Year 
2020" A Draft White Paper
The second of 2 public meetings to discuss Beyond RCRA will be

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2001
9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Sir Francis Drake Hotel, 450 Powell Street in downtown 
San Francisco

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak to the assumptions and
directions included in the draft paper. The paper is available on EPA's 
website at 
<<http://www.epa.gov/epaoswer/osw/vision.htm>www.epa.gov/epaoswer/osw/visio 
n.htm>. The sessions will be informal, with opportunity for interaction 
between attendees and EPA, state, and tribal officials responsible for the 
ideas and approaches reflected in the current draft paper. A copy of the 
agenda used on 11/28 is attached below.

If you plan on attending one or both of these meetings, we encourage you to
