[GreenYes] A partial explanation

To John Reindl's query, I offer a partial response.  Numerous types of glass 
are produced, including scientific, art, plate, safety and container glass.  
Several of these applications have very sophisticated features, chemistries 
and constituents.  U.S. DOC data combine the amounts and values of all forms 
of cullet, including these highly valuable forms of glass.
