[GreenYes] Lessons for Corporate PR Types
- Subject: [GreenYes] Lessons for Corporate PR Types

Earlier this summer, the Supreme Court of Canada upheld a local bylaw
banning pesticide use within the boundaries of a small Quebec town. The
implications are huge for activists across Canada.
Interestingly, a website offering strategic direction and highlighting
current trends in Corporate PR has written a piece on this particular
situation.
The lessons learned by this Corporate PR person by the actions of the
community activists are very engaging and can be applied to virtually any
kind of community based action.
Have a look at www.epublicrelations.org and hit the third story on the left
side entitled, “One small town destroys major
portion of a national pesticide market: seven lessons for PR, Marketing and
branding folks”
Cheers
