You may have already heard about the plight of Percy
Schmeiser. His story may sound like fiction, but unfortunately,
it is real. It is about the abuses of power by the multinational
corporation Monsanto. It lies, cheats, steals, bullies, and threatens
anyone or anything, to insure profit in spite of human and environmental
suffering. Written about many times in the past, once
again here is another example of its abuse of power. Please read
this article by E. Ann Clark, a professor of plant agriculture at the University
of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. As you are reading, don't assume for a
moment that because farmer Schmeiser is in Canada that US farmers are
not being monitored by the giant as well.
