Attached is an article regarding radioactive recycled materials. A few
years ago Ben Walker, who was then with the Steel Recycling Institute, and I
started a dialogue on this but got no further than a few e-mails. Does
anyone on the list have any experience in this matter? Do you know of a
source that might be able to define acceptable limits of radioactivity
should, in fact, radioactive materials find there way into recycled content
steel for example? Or information regarding contract language or
specification language for construction projects that defines limits?
