[GreenYes] municipal Superfund sites?

Does anyone have information on actual expenditures by municipalities to 
pay for cleanup costs on municipal landfills that were Superfund sites?

Have any of the several hundred municipal landfill sites that became NPL 
sites in the early 90s actually had to put out $$ to pay for cleanups?
