Sorry for cross-postings. I've referred her to Earth 911's zipcode locator, but
thought someone might have some additional info. to assist this woman....please
    respond directly to her.

I just recently moved to Southington CT (Hartford County) - in my old town, I
    was able to recycle my
mail/white paper/office paper with my newspapers and magazines. In this town,
the various town representatives and all the trash haulers that I have called
have advised me that I cannot recycle white paper - only newspapers and
magazines. What's a homeowner that's trying to be good to do??

Conservatree suggested that you might be able to refer me to a broker or
recycling center that takes paper in my area.
    Can you?

    Thanks,
    Terry Kern
