Hi folks,

I'm wondering if you all can help me find existing studies that have done
an honest comparison of municipal waste incineration and
recycling/reduction/composting programs on a citywide level. We are trying
to convince some large cities that they should at least take a serious look
at the alternative approach to municipal waste management; and the findings
of other cities that have looked at the same problem would be very useful.

I know that Seattle had commissioned such a study several years ago, but
does anyone know where I could get a copy? Are there other cities that have
done similar studies?
