While I generally favor the aim of organizations like the WTO and its
predecessor, GATT, I do understand the concerns Martin raised. That
said I would suggest that the easiest way to ensure that the WTO never
waters down our own country's environmental and labor laws is to make sure
more people understand our Constitution and the struggles behind its
creation.

America leads the world in environmental protection largely because of the
rule of law established in that document, and the more people there are
who know what the Constitution contains, the less we will have to worry
about our politicians giving it away.
