The facts are WRONG. Germany does not even have a takeback law for
electronics yet.
The ocncern is that they are trying to ban heavy metals in electronics ONLY
then why not other products?
heavy metals are best dealt with in their own legislation. Electronics
guys are trying to get rid of some of the metals -- but nobody has figured
out how to do a CRT without lead. Dont you need your computer?
It is a very complex issue, and you shouldn't comment on something you dont
know anything about.
I am not saying the US position is totally correct, but your facts are
wrong -- the current proposal is totally different but still quite onerous.
