Sorry for being off-topic, but I thought I might save others some
time/trouble regarding the virus alert that was sent out this morning (I
had already received two other messages about it!). According to Net
Associates and Dr. Solomon's, the "Wobbler" virus is a hoax.

If you ever have a question about whether a virus is real, there are
several respectable sites on-line that post updates on real viruses and
virus hoaxes. The one that I usually check is at www.drsolomons.com,
under their virus central section. They have lots of great info on known
computer viruses and how to stop or recover from them. On hoaxes, they
even list sample virus warning language that is likely to get sent out. We
get a lot of virus warnings here at Univ. of TN (some very real and others
not so real), so we've just started checking on all of the notices we
receive.

Take care--Cat Wilt
